Retail giant Myer have once again managed to pull off one of the most chic and luxe Birdcage marquees at Flemington for the 2015 Melbourne Cup Carnival.

Bringing Spring to life with an exotic ‘Super Botanica’ themed space, this years Melbourne Cup Carnival saw Myer serve over 5000 flutes of G.H Mumm French champagne to guests who were inevitably eager to celebrate in style with the long list of fashionable Myer guests. Men looking dapper from head to toe in creative and colourful suits, and women looking a million dollars in frocks by all sorts of talented designers, enjoyed the ambient setting and phenomenal trackside location from morning to night.

Creative director of Gloss Creative, Amanda Henderson proved that style has no boundaries when creating the wonderland of lavish blooms within the marquee, forming somewhat of a magical land bursting with botanical sets of wonder, fruits, and vines.

Melbourne favourites in catering, The Big Group, partnered with Myer to produce what can only be described as extremely stomach rumbling. Bringing an array of fresh foods including leafy green kale salads, sashimi, Spring fruit tartlets and more, the Myer marquee provided a unique dining experience for its fashion forward guests. For guests who treat seafood as their go-to delicacy, the popular Oyster bar served three varieties of the delicious Oysters.
The luxury Bibelot gelato cart was the icing on the cake, with a variety of mouth watering choices of artisan gelato on offer such as rasberry-rose, coconut sorbet, pistachio gelato, and strawberry-lemon myrtle sorbet. Dee-freaking-lish.

Not only was the Myer marquee a 10/10 in the aesthetically pleasing category, the retail giant ticked all boxes in the hospitality category at the Melbourne Cup Carnival this year!
